Holly Humberstone Shares New Single ‘Die Happy’
خلاصہ: Holly Humberstone Shares New Single ‘Die Happy’Holly Humberstone has returned with a new single entitled “Die Happy.” The track arrived alongside a music video directed by Silken Weinberg.
Regarding the track, Humberstone said: “I wrote ‘Die Happy’ thinking about a fairytale at night, somewhere between driving fast with the windows down and wandering through a crumbling old house. I took inspiration from The Bloody Chamber and Dracula and I wanted to show the feeling of throwing yourself into love fully and recklessly. There is danger in love.”

As fans eagerly await Humberstone’s next era following the release of her sensational 2023 debut LP, Paint My Bedroom Black, those in Australia can catch her on the road in the coming weeks. Beginning on November 13, she’ll be performing a slew of shows on the continent, both as a headliner and in support of Sam Fender. The gigs begin in Melbourne before Humberstone travels to Newstead, Brisbane, and more.
“Die Happy” marks Humberstone’s first new single since she released an updated version of “Dive” with Asha Banks back in July. The track was originally featured on Humberstone’s last release, work in progress, which arrived in March of 2024.
The updated version of “Dive” is not the first track she’s re-released with the help of friends. In May of last year, she shared a three-track EP entitled Cocoon, which featured a new version of the title track with Medium Build; an update on “Into Your Room” with indie pop band MUNA; and a remixed offering of “Antichrist” alongside Tiny Habits.
All of these moments serve as a bridge between Humberstone’s debut, Paint My Bedroom Black, and whatever sophomore effort she’s cooking up. “Die Happy” marks the beginning of a new era, one she has been working on for quite some time. When she announced the release date for “Die Happy” last week, she wrote on Instagram: “thank you for waiting for me to get it right.”

Singer-Songwriter Todd Snider Has Passed Away
خلاصہ: Singer-Songwriter Todd Snider Has Passed AwayTodd Snider, an alt-country singer-songwriter, has died. Snider’s publicist confirmed to the New York Times that Snider had died on Friday, November 14, in Nashville. The cause was pneumonia. Snider was 59.
“How do we move forward without the one who gave us countless 90 minute distractions from our impending doom? The one who always had 18 minutes to share a story,” his record label, Aimless, Inc. Headquarters, wrote on social media. “We’ll do it by carrying his stories and songs that contain messages of love, compassion, and peace with us.”
Earlier this month, Snider canceled the remaining dates of a tour in support of last month’s High, Lonesome and Then Some after he was involved in an assault in Salt Lake City. A statement posted to his social media account on November 3 said that the singer had sustained “severe injuries” and that he would be unable to perform for an “undetermined amount of time.”
Todd Daniel Snider was born on October 11, 1966, in Portland, Oregon. His parents were Vera Michele (Bassett) Snider, a homemaker, and Daniel Paul Snider, a builder. At 16, Snider left home and bounced around the country. He eventually landed in Memphis, where he was signed to Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville label. Snider later joined John Prine’s Oh Boy Records.
Snider released his debut album, Songs for the Daily Planet, in 1994. He quickly established himself as a songwriter in the lineage of folk and country legends like Prine and was known as what he called the “Nashville antihero.”
Snider released at least 15 albums across his career, including 1996’s Step Right Up, 1998’s Viva Satellite, 2000’s Happy to Be Here, and 2004’s East Nashville Skyline, widely considered a pillar of alt-country music.
Snider went to rehab several times for drug addiction. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Snider described his final album, High, Lonesome and Then Some, as “all heartache.”
“I wouldn’t say I’m better, and I don’t think I’m going to get better, but the last decade was hard in my personal life.”Source InformationPublisher: uDiscover MusicOriginal Source: Read more

The British rock band played a career-spanning set. The oldest track they played was “Acrylic Afternoons” off the 1994 album His ‘n’ Hers. They also performed “Something Changed” from 1995’s Different Class, along with the quintessential fan-favorite song, “This Is Hardcore,” originally released in 1998 on the album of the same name. Pulp also included “A Sunset” off their recent number one album More.
Pulp’s 1995 Mercury Prize winning, chart-topping album Different Class recently received a 30th anniversary reissue via Universal Music Recordings. The acclaimed album will be available as both a quadruple LP set and on double CD format and is expanded to include the band’s legendary 1995 Glastonbury Festival set in full. It will be the first time that the Glastonbury performance has been released.
Frontman Jarvis Cocker explains how this new edition presents the album in an improved format, “We were obsessed with the fact that this was our ‘Pop’ album (we had finally achieved some ‘popularity’ when ‘Common People’ was a hit) and, as everyone knows, all pop albums have 12 songs on them: 6 tracks per side.”
He adds “Only problem: this took the running time of the record to 53 minutes. We were told this would compromise the audio quality of the vinyl record – but we were more bothered about not compromising the quality of our Pop Dream. Now, 30 years later, we are finally ready for Different Class to be heard in all its glory.”

Summer Walker Releases ‘Finally Over It’ And ‘FMT’ Video
خلاصہ: Summer Walker Releases ‘Finally Over It’ And ‘FMT’ VideoSummer Walker has dropped a new album. Finally Over It, Walker’s third studio album, is out now via LVRN/Interscope Records. Alongside the release, Walker shared an official music video for “FMT.”
Directed by Child, the “FMT” video takes place in a barren landscape as Summer communes with a group of women in a bath. “This water remembers your first cry, your first breath, and it knows the weight of my arms when they first held you, and now it learns to let you go,” an older woman tells her.

Finally Over It concludes a trilogy that began with 2019’s Over It and continued with 2021’s Still Over It, which gave the Atlanta-based R&B singer/songwriter her first No. 1 Album on the Billboard 200.
One cut off the album, “Heart of a Woman,” recently received two Grammy nominations for Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song. The song’s video, co-starring Walker and rapper NLE Choppa, finds Walker reliving the same day three times in a loop after learning about her partner’s
infidelity.
Ahead of the album, Walker built viral hype with an inventive rollout that included a 90s-inspired hotline commercial, blurred digital covers across DSPs, and a lie detector test confirming fan-theories about who might appear on the album. She also launched the Finally Over It escape room in Atlanta and sent a Finally Over It dump truck on tour around the city to collect fans’ old belongings from ex-boyfriends.
Walker eventually revealed the album’s lineup with a wedding reception–themed seating chart and video. Among the producers and artist involved on Finally Over It are Chris Brown, Latto, Mariah the Scientist, Bryson Tiller, Teddy Swims, GloRilla, Sexyy Red, Brent Faiyaz, 21 Savage, Anderson.Paak, The Dream, Jeremih, Troy Taylor, Bryan-Michael Cox, Nineteen85, Ant Clemons, Jean Baptiste, and more.
The 18-song album is structured into two sections, “For Better” and “For Worse.” Both emotional worlds explore the lessons of love, and reflect on self-worth, stability, and intimacy. Ahead of the release, Walker spoke on Instagram about the emotional realizations behind the project, saying, “I came out of my funk. I’m gonna live life to the fullest and get everything I deserve. It’s so freeing, and I can finally take the baggage off and just be happy.”

خلاصہ: Cuco Shares ‘Dreamin’’ Music VideoCuco has shared a music video for “Dreamin’,” a track that appears on the deluxe edition of the Mexican-American star’s recent album Ridin’. In the video, a young boy rescues a dog chained up in a neighbor’s yard. Things go south when the boy discovers an ICE uniform in the neighbor’s closet.
Cuco premiered the music video with an intimate fan event. The screening was followed by a Q&A with Cuco and director AG Rojas and an exclusive meet & greet with Cuco. Tickets directly supported The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA).
Ridin’ is a tribute to the musician’s hometown of Los Angeles. It includes the single “My 45,” which pairs Cuco with fellow Angeleno Jean Carter. The two previously collaborated on “Bossa No Sé” from Cuco’s 2019 debut album Para Mi.

Car culture is an overarching theme on Ridin’. “Everybody listens to music when they’re driving,” Cuco says. “Music is a part of your commute, whether you’re in a good or bad mood. You’re ridin’ through the motion of your life where nothing is linear.” He elaborates on the new LP’s themes: “All of my songs here are romantic, where that’s in a super-animated way or sad and heartbroken.”
Ridin’ is Cuco’s third album for Interscope following Para Mi and 2022’s Fantasy Gateway. The new album teams him with producer and Dap-Kings guitarist Tom Brenneck, known for his work on modern classics from Amy Winehouse and Bruno Mars. KISS Share Story Behind ‘Rock and Roll All Nite’ In New Vevo Footnotes Clip
خلاصہ: KISS Share Story Behind ‘Rock and Roll All Nite’ In New Vevo Footnotes ClipPaul Stanley and Gene Simmons have teamed up with Vevo Footnotes to take fans behind the scenes of writing the KISS anthem, “Rock and Roll All Nite.” Originally featured on their 1975 album Dressed To Kill, “Rock and Roll All Nite” has been the band’s closing song at nearly every KISS live show over the past five decades.
The idea for the track was first conceived when Casablanca Records president Neil Bogart brought up the idea of an “anthem song” as a rallying cry for the band’s fanbase. “I went back to our hotel on Sunset Blvd.,” Stanley shares, “and came up with the chorus, melody, and lyrics of the hook.”
Click to load video
Simmons adds: “It was very much a collaborative effort, with Paul writing the chorus and me writing the verses that were pulled from a song I had previously written called ‘Drive Me Wild,’ which was actually a song about a car.” When it was time to record, the band brought in some of their friends, fellow musicians, and road crew to clap and sing on the record.
“It’s ‘the’ rock anthem,” Simmons concludes. “It’s lived on in such a magical and special way throughout the years and continues to after 50 years.” Stanley concurs, explaining: “It’s kind of a quintessential KISS song in our discography. This song is such a big piece of our story. And it connects us with people on all different levels across generations and generations of fans.”
Reflecting on his creative partnership with Simmons, Stanley shares: “Gene and I understand each other and we always seem to put the pieces together. “Sometimes we brought things together that we did separately and it just clicked. It wasn’t always seamless, but it’s worked for us for over 40 years!” However, when asked who had the better makeup, both men answered: “Me!”

Reba McEntire Shares Story Behind ‘The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia’
خلاصہ: Reba McEntire Shares Story Behind ‘The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia’“The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia” is famed for the twisted story it manages to tell in under four minutes, and now Reba McEntire has shared the story behind her take on the country classic. As part of the Vevo Footnotes series, she breaks down her process from choosing the song to shooting the video.
McEntire explains that she decided on recording her version when she and her co-producer Tony Brown were seeking out another older song like “Fancy” to feature on her upcoming album, For My Broken Heart. The first tape Reba grabbed in the room was “The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia.” “I handed it to ,” she shares, “and said ‘what about this one?’ It felt like a sign.”
Click to load video
The track was originally written in 1972, just shy of twenty years before Reba’s recording, by country songwriter Bobby Russell. Despite all his work on the track, Russell wasn’t happy with the outcome, and was reluctant to even record a demo. His then-wife Vicky Lawrence, a performer on the Carol Burnett show, disagreed, believing he had a hit on his hands. Her instincts were correct—her recording of the song would reach number one on the Hot 100 chart in 1973. McEntire recalls that she “got to sing the song with Vicki on her talk show in the early 90s,”
The video for Reba’s version of the track added more detail to the song’s story through interludes of spoken dialogue. “Jack Cole directed the video,” she says. “I also worked with Jack on the music videos for ‘Is There Life Out There’ and ‘Fancy.’” The video features Reba as the narrator, or “little sister,” as both a young woman in flashbacks and a 60-year-old in the present. “The biggest thing I learned from doing movies and videos is to be patient, it takes time!” she explains. “It took two whole days to shoot the video. One whole day was just taking the photographs you see.”
“My version of the song only went to number 12 on the charts,” Reba reflects, “but it’s become one of my fans’ most favorite songs of my career.”

‘The Emperor’s New Groove’: The Music Of Disney’s Comedy Classic
خلاصہ: ‘The Emperor’s New Groove’: The Music Of Disney’s Comedy ClassicSince hitting cinemas in 2000, Disney’s The Emperor’s New Groove has become a cult classic. The movie’s blend of sharp comedy, wacky slapstick, and arch metafiction set it apart from the studio’s previous decade of animated adventure epics, from 1989’s The Little Mermaid to 1999’s Tarzan. Add a couple of much-loved songs written specially for the movie by Sting, and you’ve got a Disney classic with a difference. But the movie could have turned out very differently.
Production began in 1994, with director Roger Allers — hot off the back of the phenomenal success of that year’s The Lion King — tasked by the studio with creating a story that explored the culture of the ancient Incas. Allers and his team developed Kingdom Of The Sun using elements of the Incan creation myth, Mark Twain’s 1881 novel The Prince And The Pauper and The Prisoner Of Zenda, the 1894 novel by Anthony Hope, and visited Machu Picchu, Peru, to study Incan artifacts and architecture.
Looking to the success of Elton John’s songs for The Lion King, Disney approached Sting to write original material for Kingdom Of The Sun. It was a no-brainer for the former frontman of The Police, as he explained to the Daily Record in 2000, “I’ve grown up with Disney — films such as The Jungle Book, Pinocchio, and Sleeping Beauty — and I thought, OK, if you’re going to have a legacy into the future, what better way than to write for one of these films that people are going to watch in 30 years’ time. And I have six children. I thought my stock would rise if they saw their dad doing a Disney film.”
As well as an opportunity to impress his kids, the project presented Sting with a challenge as a songwriter and an opportunity to break out of his comfort zone. “I leapt at the idea of writing for Disney characters. Writing funny songs, sad songs, love songs… songs that have nothing to do with my life.” Sting and collaborator David Hartley set to work writing songs based on the snippets of plot information given to them by the production team.
Click to load video
Sting and Hartley ended up writing six songs for Kingdom Of The Sun. Among them, “Snuff Out The Light” was a highlight — a sultry, Latin-flavored dance number sung by Eartha Kitt as Yzma, the villain of the film, detailing her determination to do whatever it takes to keep her youthful looks. Elsewhere, the jaunty earworm “Walk The Llama Llama” — originally intended to introduce the movie’s hero, humble villager Pacha, and underline the importance of the llama to the Incans — was performed with gusto by country favorites Rascal Flatts. Meanwhile, the sophisticated pop of “One Day She’ll Love Me,” a duet sung by Sting and Shawn Colvin, was intended to soundtrack the burgeoning relationship between Pacha and the emperor’s partner, Nina.
Click to load video
Despite the strength of the songs, Kingdom Of The Sun underwent a radical shift in direction following a screening of a work-in-progress version for executive producers Thomas Schumacher and Peter Schneider. “I remember people saying there’s too many elements in the movie,” story supervisor Steve Anderson told Vulture. “It was The Prince And The Pauper. It was also the transformation of somebody into a llama. It was Yzma, who wants to raise the dead, snuff out the light, and have a world of darkness, but she also wants eternal youth and beauty. So it’s like, OK, but which one does she want?” Mark Dindal replaced Allers as director, and the original idea for Kingdom Of The Sun drastically changed. The project would now be a zany and irreverent buddy movie called The Emperor’s New Groove, focusing on a spoiled emperor being turned into a llama.
That meant that Sting and Hartley needed to come up with two new songs for The Emperor’s New Groove. The rambunctious Latin hip-shaker “Perfect World” sets the scene perfectly, introducing us to Emperor Kuzco with a witty lyric from the perspective of the emperor’s personal singer, which heaps praise upon the ruler (“He’s the sovereign lord of the nation, he’s the hippest dude in creation”). Though Disney wanted Sting to sing “Perfect World,” he felt it should be sung by a younger artist. When it was decided that the emperor’s singer would be a Vegas-style lounge lizard, the production team hit upon the idea of using Tom Jones, who belts out the song with his customary vim and vigor, despite being 11 years Sting’s senior. Over the course of the accompanying sequence, it becomes apparent that Kuzco is absurdly indulged and ruling with fear, suggesting that Jones’ character is a decidedly unreliable narrator. A reprise toward the end of the film changes the lyric to underline the importance of friendship, emphasizing the lessons learned by Kuzco along the way.
Click to load video
Sting and Hartley also contributed “My Funny Friend And Me,” which played over the film’s credits and earned the songwriting duo an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song at the 73rd Academy Awards in 2001 (they lost out to Bob Dylan’s “Things Have Changed” from Wonder Boys). The moving ballad is sung by Kuzco to Pacha, describing the way that their unlikely friendship has changed him. The lyric, “The world is not my playground, there are other things that matter,” reflects that journey and complements the film’s ending, in which Kuzco decides not to go ahead with his plan to destroy Pacha’s village to build a theme park.
In the end, The Emperor’s New Groove was a hilarious and lovable classic that has a special place in the hearts of Disney fans. And there was a happy ending for the songs Sting worked on for Kingdom Of The Sun, as they went on to appear on The Emperor’s New Groove soundtrack album — so now you too can “Walk The Llama Llama.”

The Police’s ‘Every Breath You Take’ Hits Three Billion Streams On Spotify
خلاصہ: The Police’s ‘Every Breath You Take’ Hits Three Billion Streams On SpotifyThe Police’s “Every Breath You Take” has reached another massive streaming milestone. The British rock band’s hit has surpassed three billion streams on Spotify.
“Every Breath You Take,” from The Police’s fifth and final album, 1983’s Synchronicity, is well-known as the band’s signature song. The album featured additional singles like “King of Pain,” “Wrapped Around Your Finger,” and “Synchronicity II.”
“Every Breath You Take” is the band’s most successful single, topping the charts in the U.S., Canada, Ireland, and their native U.K. The tune, which is the band’s sole No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, sat atop the chart for eight weeks. At the 1984 Grammy Awards, the song won trophies for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals and Record of the Year. The Synchronicity album was also nominated for Album of the Year.

The song was also given new life in 2017, when it was featured in the Snow Ball dance scene in season two of Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things, and later became part of Gen Z TikTok videos. While “Every Breath You Take” is currently The Police’s sole entry in the Spotify Billions Club, their 1978 reggae-inspired single “Roxanne” is quickly approaching the one billion mark.
Recently, the band released their five studio albums on SHM-CD. The selections include Outlandos d’Amour (1978), Reggatta de Blanc (1979), Zenyatta Mondatta (1980), Ghost In The Machine (1981), and Synchronicity (1983). The SHM-CDs, a format more legacy acts are utilizing, are specially manufactured in Japan and pressed in small batches to emphasize quality over quantity.
Last year, The Police put out a deluxe reissue of Synchronicity, which had been in the works for over three years. The box set included more than 55 previously unreleased tracks, new liner notes and interviews, rare archival memorabilia, and unseen photographs. Back in July, frontman Sting released a 40th anniversary digital deluxe edition of his 1985 solo debut, The Dream Of The Blue Turtles.

According to a press release, Carey was chosen due to “her extraordinary career as well as her long-standing commitment to supporting communities and people in need.” Carey founded Camp Mariah alongside the Fresh Air Fund, which supports underserved youth, curating programs that advance health, education, and social welfare. The 35th annual Person of the Year benefit gala will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on January 30, 2026.
Last week, meanwhile, Carey’s “Don’t Forget About Us” remix with Kaytranada received a 2026 Grammy nomination for Best Remixed Recording, marking her 34th nomination (she’s also won 5 awards). She will also soon kick off her “Christmastime in Las Vegas” residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM. The residency comes after three consecutive years of Carey touring North America for the holiday season. The 10 performances will be held on Nov. 28 and 29, and Dec. 2, 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, 12, and 13.

The Black Crowes’ ‘Wiser Time’ & ‘High Head Blues’ Videos Debut On YouTube
خلاصہ: The Black Crowes’ ‘Wiser Time’ & ‘High Head Blues’ Videos Debut On YouTubeAs part of The Black Crowes’ 30th anniversary celebration of their seminal 1994 album, Amorica, they’ve shared 4K remastered versions of two music videos: “Wiser Time” and “High Head Blues.” Both fan favorites from Amorica, the Jon Reiss-directed clips are now available to view on YouTube for the first time.

The video for “Wiser Time” shows lead singers Chris and Rich Robinson journeying on a road trip through middle America, stopping at various motels and diners while interacting with locals. The “High Head Blues” video is less wholesome and more trippy, as aliens descend into Chris’ home, shoving his head into an oven and performing an operation to take over his body.
Amorica, the rock band’s third studio album, followed the success of their 1990 debut, Shake Your Money Maker, and 1992’s The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion. The album emerged from the sessions for Tall, an album the band eventually scrapped but later resurfaced on The Lost Crowes compilation. Several songs from Tall were re-recorded for Amorica, including the Top 10 rock hits “A Conspiracy,” “High Head Blues,” and “Wiser Time.”

The new deluxe box set is available in 5LP and 3CD formats. Both formats include a new remaster of the original studio album and bonus material, a collection of new mixes from the Tall sessions, and three previously unreleased songs. The reissue also includes Marie Levau mixes, with seven unreleased recordings, and Live 10”, with four recordings that have never been heard outside a local radio broadcast.
“Amorica was about breaking free and doing things on our own terms,” said Chris Robinson, who founded the band alongside his brother, Rich. “It wasn’t about fitting into what was happening in music at the time. It was about trusting our instincts – and 30 years later, that’s still who we are.”
Rich Robinson adds: “The bond between us, even when tested, always came back to the music. That’s what Amorica represents – our belief in ourselves and in this band.”
