Reading Time: 3 minutes Another day, another bizarre twist in the ongoing saga of Charlie Kirk. Today’s allegation comes courtesy of conservative podcast host Tim Pool, who says a would-be assassin opened fire at his home in Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia last week. Many believe the attack was the result of Pool’s latest podcast episode, in which fellow conservative firebrand Milo Yiannopoulos made some very incendiary claims about both Charlie and Erika Kirk. During his recent appearance on Pool’s podcast, Yiannopoulos repeated a number of bizarre claims, including that Kirk’s assassination was an “inside job. There’s something up.” During a series of podcast appearances, Yiannopoulos — who maintains ties with Kanye West, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Nick Fuentes — alleged that several prominent US conservatives, including Kirk and Benny Johnson, are closeted homosexuals. “One of the most distinctive things about the right-wing in this country is its homosexual overtones,” Milo said at one point, adding: “Benny Johnson posts pictures of his children every two days—it’s weird. And everybody knows what went on with Benny Johnson in those lobbies and those hotel rooms. His wife was crying drunk in the lobby three SAS’s in a row about how her husband was upstairs with boys. Go ask her,” he added, referring to Turning Point USA’s Student Action Summits. Yiannopoulos also repeated Candace Owens’ claim that Kirk was “gay” and planning to “divorce” Erika Kirk at the time of his death. Pool has offered few details about the “terrifying” attack at his home, but he has suggested that he may retire from podcasting for security reasons. He stressed that no one was injured in the attack. “I’m glad everyone is ok,” Greene said in statements condemning the attack. “Everyone must stand together against this type of political violence and intimidation.
